We've been going to pampered children daycare ever since our children were both 10 weeks old. Roger and Diane have taken care of our children as if they were their own. I am constantly told how advanced my children are for their age, and I can see a difference when they are around peers of their own age. I feel a lot has to do with sending my kids to pampered children. They both participated in preschool activities at an early age and began socializing right from the start! We know our children are in loving care when they're in pampered children daycare and would highly recommend those with parents in Oswego to check it out!
"Always put the kids first"
Our story with Diane begins in 2003, shortly after our first child was born. As with any first time parents who have to go back to work, we researched and viewed many daycare's, but could not get over the rows of cribs in the bigger daycare's, they seemed impersonal and scary, so much so, I extended my maternity leave. When the time came near again, to go back to work, Diane had just opened her daycare (Pampered Children), I was thrilled, she was such a nice person and had everything set up so nice for the babies to play, sleep, interact and there was a great ratio of kids to adults. I would not have to worry. My child would be picked up, held, played with, and loved. As time went on Diane started a preschool for the kids. She worked with them on letters, colors, numbers, singing fun songs, coloring, and sent home the work they did, always keeping us informed as to what was going on (good days or bad days!) We had with two more children and they went to Pampered Children Daycare as well. However, in 2010 I was very blessed to begin a new adventure and stay at home with my kids, and we all cried when we left. Diane and Roger showed my children so much love and caring while they were in their care and we had become very close to them. We still consider them great friends and wonderful people who have always put the kids first and have shown nothing but kindness to both parents and their kids.

"My daughters started at Pampered Children Daycare when they were 6 months and 3 years old. From the beginning there was a certain comfort level. Thank you so much for helping our children in pre-school/kindergarten prep. They learned a lot at Pampered Children Daycare and scored above level in their kindergarten class. They continue to do excellent in school and I know it has a lot to do with the time, dedication and early teaching that was provided here. They were also always given healthy, well-balanced meals. That was important to us. She always went the extra mile for the kids to make sure they were taken care of. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our children to go where we knew they were cared for and loved. "

"A decision we will never regret"
We were very open-minded about where we wanted to send our children when we first began our search for a daycare. We wanted to give as many places as possible an opportunity because this was a very important decision in our eyes. We interviewed at the larger centers in the area and there was nothing personal about them at all. Every one of them made us feel like we were another number in their facility. So we started looking into the home daycare path and received Diane & Roger information from a co-worker who already had their son with them. We met with Diane & Roger and they were so informative, personable, understanding and simply passionate about what they provide to the kids and their families. We walked out of their home and knew this was the place for our children. We started at Pampered Children Daycare in 2010 with our first daughter. Diane & Roger have prepared her far beyond the norm for Kindergarten with all of the school development activities each and every week for the last 4+ years. We moved just before our second daughter was born and a part of our decision was to make sure we could continue to send them to Pampered Children Daycare until they were ready for school. This is how much we absolutely value the abilities of Diane & Roger with our children. Our third child will start there in 2016.
"Safe & Loving Environment"
Our experience with Diane (AKA Nanna) and Roger has been extraordinary. Our son started at their daycare when he was 3 months old and stayed until he was 4 1/2 years old. We felt so grateful that our son was cared for in such a genuinely loving way. We knew he was getting playtime with friends as well as learning time with Diane in a safe and loving environment. He learned a great deal which didn't "just" prepare him for pre-school and kindergarten, it put him ahead of the game. He couldn't have possibly been better prepared for pre-k or kindergarten anywhere else. We have a great affection, respect and gratitude for Diane and Roger. Diane has a true gift for nurturing and teaching little ones.......just amazing.

When it came time to choose a daycare for our son, my husband and I knew we did not want a large daycare facility. We wanted a home daycare that our son would be safe and comfortable while providing a structured environment where he could grow socially and academically. We interviewed several home daycares and were not finding what we were looking for. Then, we walked into Diane and Roger’s home… I knew almost immediately I had found what I was looking for. Diane had all the right answers to my question, such as, “My son likes to be held, how can you do that with the other children?” Diane replied, “I have a rocking chair and I will put it in the middle of the room and rock him.” Two days later my son began going to Pampered Children and continued for 4 years until he began preschool. Diane and Roger provided a safe and warm environment and my son was very happy – so happy there were times he did not want to leave when I arrived to pick him up. My son was reading by the age of 3 and loves to read! We are grateful to have found such wonderful care for our son.

"We highly recommend Pampered Children Daycare to parent's interested in a safe and supportive learning environment for their kids. We brought our daughter to Diane and Roger not long after her second birthday and agreed it was the best move we made for all of us. Not only for the terrific care she received but also for the early education and preschool instruction as well, which is extremely important to families with two adults working full-time. By the time daughter was 5, she was more than ready for kindergarten and had already started to learn how to read, write and do some arithmetic. Best of all, though, was the love and attention she received from her "adopted" grandparents, which really helped fill the gap when we lost her real grandma shortly after her birth. This personal touch, so to speak, helped make our daycare experience extra special."

My family put our daughter in the care of Diane Plug for three years, starting when she was just 16 weeks old. As a new mother, Diane made this transition seamless for my family and I. She quelled all of my fears about leaving my young child in a day care setting. Diane's facility is top notch. In fact, as soon as my husband and I set foot in her house, we knew instantly that this was the right fit for us. Her day care area is situated in her basement, which has been fully outfitted--according to code and DCFS--for children. Kids do not spend any time during the day watching TV. In fact, they spend their days in a very well structured learning environment. My daughter absolutely thrived. On the day we had to move on, there were tears from all of us as it was a very difficult separation. However, the foundation Diane gave my daughter allowed her to thrive at school the next year. She still remembers her "Nana," even though it has been nearly four years since we parted. I highly recommend.
